Syrian dance and movement artist newly settled in Montreal.
Got her B.A in dance from the Higher Institute of Arts in Damascus-Syria and a diploma in contemporary dance from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds-UK.
Some of her latest choreographic work “Regression” 2016, “Three Seconds” 2018, “Hanging” 2019.
In her work, she dives into social matters influenced by personal experiences. A big share of her inspiration comes from music.
“I am fascinated by the body and its capacity and divergence. Moving through our realities and dreams while igniting many questions in our existence. All of which has been in the core of my practice for the past few years.”
