Emmanuel Jouthe | Danse Carpe Diem

Emmanuel Jouthe|Danse Carpe Diem (EJ|DCD) is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 by a group of six choreographers and performers. After four years of artistic co-direction, Emmanuel Jouthe became the sole artistic director of the company in 1999. For more than 20 years, the company has produced and distributed contemporary choreographic works that have reached local, national and international stages. As well as creating, producing and distributing choreographic works, EJ|DCD contributes to the development of contemporary dance audiences by promoting activities to raise public awareness and cultural mediation. EJ|DCD’s mandate is to promote exploration and testing in an ongoing research process. Thus, the company contributes to the enrichment of the contemporary dance environment. The company had recently added to its mandate the possibility of supporting the next generation of emerging artists.
