Vías

Vía in Spanish means a connecting channel between two points. Artists are Vías, as they are bridges between the invisible and the tangible. Based in Montreal and co-directed by Mexican artists Diana León and Paco Ziel, Vías is a non-profit organization dedicated to creative production and development. After a fruitful career as performers, Diana with Les Grands Ballets and Paco with Rubberband, they came together to set a foundation for Vías under a transdisciplinary, intercultural, and sustainable vision, in the search of transcendance through art. The company’s work has been presented at Montréal Arts Interculturels, Tangente, Domaine Forget de Charlevoix and multiple festivals in Quebec, as well as renowned venues in Mexico, such as the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris, National Center of the Arts and Benito Juárez Theatre.
