Description

Andrea Peña & Artists offers an aesthetic and physical work on conception and brutality. The choreographer of Colombian origin summons challenging movements through the bodies of her nine dancers who channel images of magical realism and Latin American baroque.

BOGOTÁ exposes a universe made of concrete and scaffolding; the piece questions the movements related to death and resurrection as an homage to the resistance of oppressed populations trying to resurface in our post-colonial era. Queer, transgressive and magnetic, the work celebrates the complexity of our humanity.
