Description
Élégante chair is the embodiment of the works of sculptor Ito Laïla Le François. In this duet, the choreographer attempts to answer the following question: And if the works lived, how would they dance?
At the very beginning, the bodies seem immobile, anchored in the earth, like abstract monuments. In this piece, flesh embodies matter. Their gesture resonates in each other like twin entities. They are discovering this hybrid language.
Élégante chair draws its writing from sculptural forms. The body becomes this territory
improbable half-human, half-landscape, where he develops this other movement.
