Description

“Ella – The story of Cinderella”, a production inspired by the classic tale of Charles Perrault, exposes the path that will transform Ella into Cinderella. This production of Ballet Ouest premiered in 2019 and toured throughout Quebec in early 2020.
Often receiving requests from presenters for productions in the same format as “The Nutcracker”, with the ability to integrate young dancers from each region onstage, Ballet Ouest created “Ella”. This production can be presented using exclusively the 13 dancers of the company or by offering the possibility of a partnership between the company and the dance schools of the region in which it is performed, allowing the participation of up to 36 young dancers and showcasing their local talent in a large-scale production.
Projections on multiple screens, interactive multimedia and special effects come together to create a magical universe that will delight audiences.
