  • A bed is more than a simple piece of furniture. It is a place, an area used for different purposes. You can go there to sleep or escape from the world. You can keep others out or share it. You can be born in one or die in one. It is the scene for much drama and joy.

In her new work, Ô lit!, choreographer Hélène Langevin revisits this special place and gives this common object new life. A bed is the main focus of this piece, around which babies, children and adolescents have all kinds of experiences. A fantastic story told across numerous tableaux in which sung voices, live percussion and shadow puppets unite with dance to create an artistic experience that will keep young audiences riveted.
