  • A furious and heretical ceremony to which adolescents and adults are invited.

Energetic, demanding and at times even turbulent, this show revisits the world of the Ballets Russes one hundred years after the iconic company was founded.

As vibrant now as they were a century ago, these works still hold a contemporary resonance and lend themselves perfectly well to the creation of a choreography capable of capturing the hearts of all audiences and provoking a visceral physical response. Drawing inspiration from the energy and raw power of their creations, she invited composer Martin Tétreault to create a musical score that fosters a dialogue with their masterpieces and the music of DJs so dear to adolescents. While remaining a work for general audiences, Variations S , conceived for eight dancers, will be unique in that it will be geared primarily to adolescents and preadolecents - people going through a stage of life so akin to the mutations of spring.
