  • Suites Perméables is intended as a basis for questioning intimacy at the limits of its physical expression. Set in an atypical performance space, this choreographic piece is deeply engaged in bringing audience members outside of their comfort zone and coaxing them into an unexpected encounter with the Other, in a hidden dimension.

    The closeness between dancers and spectators is imposed by a stage area which is anything but a conventional layout : at the outset, a row of spectators. Directly in front of them, a wall. Between the two, a narrow stage punctuated by a series of choreographic moments. The body in movement cannot be observed from a distance in this linear space. It may be perceived peripherally or through the skin. Often, in a highly sensitive way. Suites Perméables unfolds in the manner of a cast glance, an extended hand, a sound whispered in the ear. Malleable, the performers’s bodies vibrate and protect themself from the outside world, in a presence which is both gentle and unsettling.

    • Required space: La jauge peut varier selon les dimensions de l'espace, minimum requis de 30' x 45' (équivalent à 60 personnes par représentation). Il est possible de faire jusqu'à 3 représentations. Le spectacle peut être présenté dans des espaces divers, par exemple le théâtre, la salle d’exposition et la salle multifonctionnelle, en autant que l’espace fourni permette de rencontrer les exigences techniques.
