  • « The life of a couple is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain. »

It is with this philosophy in mind that Claude Caron, Artistic Director of Ballet Ouest de Montréal, created Couples, his most recent work.

This creation, featuring six dancers, is an exploration of couples in their many forms. From young lovers in the bloom of youth to older partners, from relationships that are just beginning to those starting to fade, the various stages that couples experience are explored through music and movement, and highlighted with multimedia effects. It is an emotional experience that will draw audiences in and remind them of their own stories of love, joy and loss.
