  • Total duration: 60 min
  • With this new creation, Ginette Laurin is returning to the roots of her choreographic language, constructing a work in which the gesture takes on its fullest significance, plunging viewers into the heart of human relationships. Soif is a dance that stems from the impetus of movement, propelling the bodies into wild, unfettered bursts of lyricism.

A wide-open stage, costumes by Marilène Bastien, lighting by Martin Labrecque and a musical montage by Michel F. Côté serve to accentuate the bodies of the eight dancers, whose impulsive gestures lend the work its rhythm. They intersect, unite, support and oppose each other in a dance that explores the darkest-and lightest-areas of human relations.
