Nikola Tesla, “the father of modern electricity” once said, if you only knew the magnificence of 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe.
The title represents the mysteries and wonders of life.
In "Threesixnine", Tentacle Tribe presents its multiple dimensions, moving from simple to complex, from organic to mechanic, from solo to sextet.
Emmanuelle LePhan and Elon Hoglund are now exploring all the nuances of their new approach with this sextet that now includes new members within their company.
Moreover, this Tentacle Tribe piece is a dynamic take on the concept of the circle of life. It is by integrating the individual skills and personality of each of his dancers that they will be able to embark them on a surrealistic journey of birth and death. Through movement of high technical level the dancers paint a picture of harmony synchronicity but also of chaos.
Tentacle Tribe continues to push their aesthetics under the technicality of HipHop through a range of movements inspired by everything that touches geometry and origami.
