An oval stage space made of pink fabric, microphones, two humans, 20 soft sculptures, one synthesizer.

In this utopian space where shapes, forms and textures merge, we watch these bodies-matters meet, fold, unfold, connect, invaginate, and intertwine. We are witnesses to a new division of things; a non-hierarchical order of the living and the non-living. The power relations at play between humans and their environment put into question. The norms of identification, orientation, and desire are constantly reinvented. We are gently consumed by a quest for pleasure that is not exclusively human-centered, unleashing a sensory space; heterogeneous and ecstatic.

In More-than-Things, Emile Pineault and Claudel Doucet twist their acrobatic practices to reveal the materiality of the body. They become toys, objects, tools, a climbable heap or bendable mass. From there, emerges a vocabulary in motion that combines sensitive geometry, consent, passivity and radical softness.
