  • Manos de Mujer is a dance solo inspired by the condition of woman in the workplace. It is a dance-performance that speaks of the importance, the presence and strength of women and the political and economic inequalities they suffer.

This solo has come to life because of the awareness of a reality that is lived in different countries. It is a solo full of femininity inspired by the woman who gets up, pushes herself, speaks, sings and works constantly with her hands. In other to represent this, the movement of the body is focused on, and initiated by, the hands.

The piece creates a dialogue between dance, voice and music that aims to approach the movement of the body as a poetic idea that settles in texts and images. The voice, singing and music give to the piece a theatricality and a performative game that makes it a melancholy dance that calls for reflection.
